CD Project
For this project, we had to create an album cover using five different images and two different filters. The band can either be real or made-up. I decided to make one up. I called it "The Wrecking Crew." Using what I learned about Photoshop and filters, I managed to create this album cover.
Magazine Project
For this project, we had to use our skills in Photoshop to retouch our own photos and then feature it in a magazine cover that we created. They can either be a real magazine or a made-up one. For my magazine, I used Rolling Stone. In it, I featured the title, "Kevin the Great: The Newest Music Sensation," and teasers including "Green Day Now #1 in the World," "Justin Bieber Finally Died," and "Politics: Obama Conquers 2012." As for the photo, I used both healing brushes to get rid of any blemishes and created a separate blur layer to make it look even better.

Girl
In this doubled up photo, we had to touch up this photo by getting rid of any glare (using the blur tool) and blemishes (using the heal brush) off of her face. Then, we had to use the Hue/Saturation Layers to add make-up and blush onto her face. As a result, the girl in this photo looks much more beautiful.

Dear Old Grandfather
For Dear Old Grandfather, we recieved a very old photo (possibly 1800s era). First, we had to restore it using the history brush. Then, we had to double it up to show the before photo and the after photo. After that, we had to colorize the after photo using several Hue/Saturation Layers and the brush tool.
Handsome Guy
For this photo we had to use our skills with Photoshop to retouch the photo to the best of our abilities. We used tools like the brush tool and the healing brush. In addition to that, we had to demonstrate our ability to create and edit layers like the Hue/Saturation Layer.
Crew
For the assignment, we had to demonstrate that we know how to use the clone tool and get rid of the part of the beach and the large wave that is shown. We also demonstrated that we know how to use the type mask tool to create the text from the background and call it crew. In order to show what we did, we had to "double up" the photo to show the before photo and the after photo.
